As always, we’re keenly tuned in to the schedule, speakers, and focus on issues that affect women. Here’s what is on our radar from the event schedule and if you can’t make it, know that wherever we end up, we’ll live-tweet as we go.

This session will present an overview of the collaborative process, typical network architecture, and the best practice recommendations for design and data exchange for obstetric ultrasound networks.

This session will focus on nursing's critical role in driving innovation and escalating workforce challenges, as well as how clinical mobility solutions are supporting improved patient care during an exceptionally rigorous time for patient care delivery.

12:00 - 1:00 pm EDT - Reducing Bias in AI Technology
Recognizing the various mechanisms through which biases are introduced, as well as solutions to reduce them, are critical to improving health equity and reducing disparities. This session will review the current biases in healthcare data and related AI, and allow for a dynamic discussion on existing solutions and possible improvements.

Meetup with influential women in health information and technology to engage in thought-provoking conversation! Join us as we dive into unique perspectives to highlight DEI initiatives. The panel discussion led by Shereese Maynard, named “Top 30 Health IT Influencers 2021” will examine DEI initiatives across organizations. We’ll explore how they are addressing barriers for advancement and building an environment to attract, retain, and sustain a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Learn how one of the nation’s largest women’s health networks leverages self-service tools to empower patients and offset provider workload. This session will share lessons learned on a journey through the seven stages of virtual care adoption.

This session will describe different models for using absenteeism data in a healthcare setting to help improve both health and educational outcomes for children.

This session will summarize the benefits of ERAS in the C-section population, describe the importance of eliminating variation in care delivery, and explain how to create standardized order sets in your current EHR platform.

Thursday, March 17
4:00 - 5:00 pm EDT - Closing the Empathy Gap through Data Mining
With increasingly limited time to meet and speak with patients and the move toward virtual care, being able to anticipate how needs might evolve throughout the changing patient journey can help physicians pre-empt important questions and concerns. In this session, findings across multiple panels will be unveiled, including maternal health, lifestyle medicine, pain management, and infectious disease management (COVID-19).
