Another week on the road and what a journey it's been! Here are last week's highlights.
#Pinksocks Meetup Magic
This past Tuesday, we painted Zeitgeist in hues of happiness with our #pinksocks meetup. The camaraderie was palpable as folks from Santa Cruz #HIE, the incoming President of #NorCalHIMSS, and our spirited #kindnessambassador, @nickisnpdx, all joined in.
Memories were made, laughter shared, and plans for future get-togethers were etched. If the idea of being a #kindnessambassador and bringing pinksocks joy to elementary schools sings to your heart, please know there are many classrooms waiting eagerly! [Drop Nick a DM if you're interested!]
Diving Deep with "Artists Remaking Medicine"
Thursday brought a treasure trove of insights during our salon with the acclaimed author, Emily F Peters. Discussing her upcoming book "Artists Remaking Medicine"; we delved into the vast expanse of emotions, experiences, and expressions. From the vivid language of colors to the poignant stories told through scars, it was a revelatory evening.
And through it all, the undercurrent was clear — our role in transforming healthcare is pivotal. Emily's wisdom was a reminder that every small positive change counts and collectively, we can overhaul the very essence of healthcare.
