Teaming up with HITLAB

We’re excited to announce a new collaboration with HITLAB, an organization that seeks to improve global women’s health by connecting early-stage startups with the resources they need to successfully launch innovations.

We’re very aligned with their vision and mission and want to make sure our community is aware of their offerings: The Women’s Health Tech Challenge and Women’s Health Tech Wednesdays.

HITLAB founded the Women’s Health Tech Challenge, an initiative founded in 2018 with the mission of addressing unmet health needs of women globally and increasing gender equity in technology and venture.

Do you have an idea, product, or service that addresses unmet health needs of women globally that could use resources and expert advice?

Applications are accepted now from pre-seed, seed, series A, and Non profit companies serving women’s health until October 20, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.

HITLAB also hosts weekly conversations via Zoom with women leaders (an idea we love!).

Women’s Health Tech Wednesdays are designed to engage and inspire innovation within the healthcare community. All are welcome to participate in the weekly event, which consists of a brief interview, followed by a live Q&A.

Here’s a recording of their latest event, where Nina Joshi, a Consultant for Kaiser Permanent interviewed Sara Chokshi, Director of Research for HITLAB.

The next event will be held October 6, where Nina Joshi will interview Julia Peev, Partner at PACE Healthcare Capital, to discuss venture capital.
