Amanda Griffith

I grew up the daughter of parents who were scientists, medical librarians, biology teachers and regulatory affairs leaders so science and medicine were always in my blood. Add in a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis at age 12 and a struggle with anxiety and depression, which I wasn't diagnosed with until my mid-20s, in addition to a Graves' disease diagnosis in May 2025 - and now let's add in perimenopause, because why not. With all of this, it was fate that I'd find my way to a career in healthcare storytelling. I've been telling stories on behalf of mental health, digital health, health IT and rare disease companies for my entire adult life. I love being a media relations consultant and pride myself on my deep, personal relationships with clients and reporters. You'll never find someone more open or transparent. I love using my voice and my mastery of the written word to highlight all of the wonderful answers in this world. And I'm good at what I do: I once landed a USA Today interview for a client with just one call and was known for delivering concise copy, personalized outreach and results. For another client, their earned media placements grew three-fold after hiring me - I'm connected, in-tune, and understand the space. I'm the proud mom of three kids and I've also suffered from secondary infertility, experiencing miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy. I know the importance of advocating for one's health while also leaning into organizations and other patients. That's why I'm proud to be a member of the Chronic Boss Collective. I love children and want them all to grow up happy and healthy, so I'm Head of Public Relations and serve on the Board of Moonshots for Unicorns, a non-profit dedicated to funding treatments and cures for rare genetic disorders, like PGAP3. I'm determined to leave a positive impact on the world for my children and their children so I'm an independent consultant with Arbonne, a company that aligns so well with my personal goals with their mission to "empower people to flourish with sustainable healthy living." I'm a compilation of my life experiences and my environment and am driven to help and pay it forward.
