Chandra Osborn, Ph.D., MPH has 20 years of experience using data and behavioral science to design, optimize, and validate behavior change solutions. She is an international expert in behavior change and communication best practices, and successfully partners with product teams to combine behavior change principles with UI/UX and design. She also evaluates digital products (e.g. email campaigns, websites, text messaging programs, apps, etc.) to improve product-market fit, reduce spend, and deliver business value and credibility. Chandra rapidly collects and analyzes data for product, marketing, and business insights. She turns results into better products, happier customers, ROI/cost savings, marketing content, white papers, company press releases, presentations (e.g. to Apple and other thought leaders), and peer-reviewed articles. Chandra has more than 100 scientific publications, book chapters, and op-eds, and has raised millions from the National Institutes of Health, foundations, and pharmaceutical and wearable device companies for her work. Prior to joining Lirio, Chandra led digital behavioral design and research teams in industry and academia. In industry, she was Vice President of Health and Behavioral Informatics at One Drop, Informed Data Systems Inc., overseeing all behavioral design and scientific activities. In academia, she did the same as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Informatics and Co-Director of the Center for Health Education and Health Behavior at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Chandra received a master’s degree and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Connecticut and earned her M.P.H. (Master of Public Health) from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she was also a Health Services Research Postdoctoral Fellow.
