Elise Kohl-Grant

Elise Kohl-Grant, Chief Information Officer of Innovative Management Solutions NY - a new venture established by two large NY Behavioral Health IPAs, received her MBA from NYU Stern. She is an active member of the American Association University of Women (AAUW) and the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) NY chapter. As CIO, she leads and helps her team execute enterprise IT strategies. This includes the evaluation of emerging technologies, establishing partnerships and identifying growth opportunities. She oversees vendor procurement and the unification of data platforms and IT processes relating to behavioral and social determinant of health factors, ultimately leveraging data analytics to support community health. Throughout her career, Elise worked in a variety of sectors including public, non-profit and government. Her in-depth knowledge of New York States Health IT infrastructure has developed through previous work with the State Health Information Network of NY (SHIN-NY), the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and through various EHR consulting engagements. She is a focused leader experienced in negotiating high level contracts to help strengthen integrated delivery systems for the Behavioral health and Developmentally Disabled communities. She has a strong history of successfully expanding IT across regions by cultivating relationships between government and private sectors.
