Jess Damassa

Jessica DaMassa has emerged as the ‘it girl’ of health tech interviewing. She brings an enthusiastic, fun, yet inquisitive style to her interviewing and hosting of conferences, interviews, and videos. But don’t be fooled, there’s a ton of knowledge, and plenty of tough questions under that charming style and infectious energy. She’s the ‘girl to know’ to know ‘who’s who’ and ‘what’s what’ in health tech – having racked up more than 500 interviews in just the past three years. From health tech CEOs and government officials to health tech VC investors and the ‘healthcare establishment,’ Jessica’s spoken with C-level leaders from nearly every major health system, health plan, and pharmaceutical company grappling with digital health, as well as physicians transforming the practice of medicine. Add in a motley assortment of startups, the occasional futurist, passionate patient advocates, and anyone else with a meaningful story to contribute to the larger change taking place in healthcare worldwide – and Jessica’s talked to them. Her current project, ‘WTF Health – What’s the Future, Health?’ is an interview series taking her around the world to 17 different health tech conferences in 11 different countries to continue her quest of asking everyone everywhere about the future of health – and WTF is wrong with it right now. She also hosts health tech’s best two-minute Q&A news series, ‘Health in 2 Point 00,’ which airs on The Health Care Blog with editorial commentary and analysis on the latest stories shaping the health tech market.
