María Fernanda Levis-Peralta, MPH, MPA, PCMH CCE, CFRE BIO María is CEO and Founder of Impactivo, LLC., a woman and minority-owned health consulting firm in Puerto Rico. She is a seasoned consultant for health centers, hospitals, pharmaceutical and insurance companies, and governments in New York, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico on issues related to health systems, quality, health technology, policy, and financing. Her former experience includes the pioneer ACO Atrius Health, where she was responsible to document their practice transformation process, designing the clinical, financial, and operational quality, and performance improvement data systems for Blue Cross Blue Shield; while working with multiple health centers to improve their quality, compliance, and net income. She has been instrumental in the attainment of over $150 million in federal grants and has an expertise designing and implementing the health needs assessment, technology, strategic planning methodologies and proprietary models required to integrate quality and payment compliance. Mrs. Levis holds a Master in Public Administration and a Master of Public Health from Harvard University, is a NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Fellow and author for Health Affairs Blog.
