Where she gained experience: Principal Consultant, Brittain-Kalish Group: Summer was a founding principal, performing revenue cycle optimization assessments, followed by ongoing large-scale transformation projects for diverse provider types across the country. Executive Consultant, Beacon Partners: Summer engaged with C-level healthcare executives and led all aspects of strategic and information technology consulting engagements. She applied deep analytics and data modeling to engage key stakeholders to understand and develop roadmaps to remediate multi-million-dollar revenue cycle and reimbursement risks for large health systems (ranging from 8 to 20 hospitals) utilizing several business intelligence applications. Director, Business Development, Southwest Healthcare System (UHS): Summer conducted a comprehensive assessment of the multi-hospital system’s various service line operations. She successfully implemented various improvement initiatives resulting in higher revenue capture. The personal side: Summer lives with her husband, son, and twin girls in San Diego, CA. She earned her AB in Politics and Economics from Princeton University and her MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In her spare time, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, the violin and running.
